Our privacy glass consists of two glass panels laminated together with two interlayers and one Polyvision switchable film embedded between them with a 10mm super spacer and 6mm Clear toughened Low-E external panel. Because the switchable film is laminated within the glass rather than applied to the surface, it offers exceptional durability and a significantly longer lifespan compared to adhesive films.
If your window is external or in direct sunlight at any point of the day, our switchable glass is recommended to be double glazed to prevent any excessive heat damage to the film. Additionally, if your switchable glass is for a sauna or kitchen backsplash where excessive heat is present, we recommend double glazing also.
