Also known as The Atric Building, this remarkable residence was designed by ZArchitects and constructed by Graya, bringing together visionary design and masterful craftsmanship to create a true architectural masterpiece.
Our switchable glass solutions were carefully integrated throughout the home to enhance both aesthetic impact and functional performance, allowing spaces to transform instantly from open and transparent to private and intimate. The strategic use of switch glass reinforces the home’s modern design language while offering flexibility, privacy, and advanced technology in equal measure.
Living Area
A fixed switchable glass panel was installed between the kitchen and living area, creating a seamless visual connection while maintaining the option for privacy when required. This installation features an 11.92mm Clear Switchable Laminate, selected to preserve clarity and natural light while providing instant opacity at the touch of a button. The result is a refined, open-plan living environment that can adapt effortlessly to different moods and uses.
Lift Shaft
Within the lift shaft, a fixed switchable glass panel was installed to frame the stunning Brisbane views, turning a functional element into a dramatic design feature. This application utilises a 15.44mm IGU Toughened Switchable Laminate, combining strength, safety, and performance with advanced privacy control. When transparent, the glass offers breathtaking panoramic views; when switched to opaque, it delivers discretion and visual control without compromising the architectural intent.
Sauna
Adjacent to the indoor pool, the sauna features fixed switchable glass panels that elevate the wellness space into a luxurious retreat. For this application, a 29.92mm IGU Toughened Switchable Laminate was specified to meet the demanding environmental requirements of heat and humidity while maintaining exceptional durability and performance. The switchable glass allows the sauna to feel open and connected to its surroundings or fully private, enhancing both comfort and user experience.
