By introducing a striking architectural design element to the Soul building in Surfers Paradise, these overhead glazed ceramic-printed glass panels significantly elevate the structure’s contemporary aesthetic while serving a highly functional purpose. The patterned ceramic print adds visual depth and character to the façade, creating a refined interplay of light and shadow throughout the space. Beyond their visual appeal, the panels provide essential shelter and weather protection for shoppers below, enhancing comfort while maintaining an open, light-filled environment that complements the building’s modern design language.

Located at Soul Surfers Paradise, this project features overhead roof panels constructed from 13.52 mm ceramic-printed toughened laminated glass, carefully selected for its strength, safety, and durability in a high-exposure commercial setting. Manufactured inhouse by Polytron, the glass panels were precision produced to meet strict performance and aesthetic standards, then expertly installed by our sister company, PTG Commercial. The result is a seamless integration of form and function, delivering a visually impactful solution that enhances both the architectural identity and usability of the space.
